Stadtwerke Potsdam GmbH (SWP) is the parent company of the various municipal supply and waste disposal companies, the transport company, the public swimming pools, the municipal fleet service and the municipal lighting in Potsdam. SWP is an implementation partner in the projects Long Range Wide Area Network - LoRaWAN and Urban Data Platform.
Entwicklungsträger Potsdam GmbH (ETP) was founded 2013 as a subsidiary of ProPotsdam GmbH. The purpose of the company is the preparation and implemention of measures of special municipal building law in Potsdam and also the delivery of real estate services. Entwicklungsträger Potsdam GmbH is an implementation partner for the development of the Participatory Neighbourhood Model (PaSMo).
The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is a cooperation partner of the model project Smart City Potsdam through the P³Dual program. P³Dual serves the purpose of recruiting and developing scientists. The academic staff member of the working group Smart City Potsdam is equally employed by both the Universiry of Applied Sciences and the model project Smart City.
The science landscape of Potsdam is the fertile soil for proWissen Potsdam e.V. The non-profit associaton was founded in 2004. Its function is the promotion of science and research, scientific communication for a large audience as well as the development of a vast network of universities, research institutions, businesses, culture, politics, cities and citizens in the Potsdam region. Therefore a platform was created, which connects these participants. proWissen Potsdam e.V. is an implementation partner in the Potsdam Lab project (Potsdam Lab).
