The state capital Potsdam has opened electronic access for emails with qualified electronic signatures. A written form mandated by legal regulation can, unless otherwise specified by legal regulation, be replaced by electronic form. The electronic form has the same legal effect as the signed paper form (written form).
Please note the following instructions for submitting your qualified electronically signed documents:
- Emails with qualified electronically signed attachments should be sent exclusively to poststelle@rathaus.potsdam.de.
- The state capital Potsdam only accepts signatures that are listed in the trust list according to Article 22 of Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014. The trust list can be viewed on the website of the Federal Network Agency. Further information on electronic signatures can be found on the website of the Federal Office for Information Security and the Federal Network Agency.
- Only pdf/a documents with qualified electronic signatures are accepted as file formats.
- The total size of the email, including attachments, is limited to 5MB.
- The state capital Potsdam does not support any encryption procedures.
- Please provide the postal address of the sender and a designation of the desired recipient, possibly with a reference number.
